Mycowatch® application
The Mycowatch® application allows you to evaluate the risk of mycotoxin contamination depending on the contamination level of the different raw materials and finished feed. The application takes into account aflatoxin, ochratoxin, fumonisin, zearalenone and trichotecenes (DON, T2, H-T2).
You will receive a personalized report based on the data you have evaluated, including all the information you need for good product use. The resulting summary will inform you about the symptoms that can be present with the specific toxin. You can use Mycowatch® to update your analysis against the new values.
Mycowatch® is a reliable and easy-to-use tool that helps to monitor the given mycotoxin.
Knowing the exact contamination of the raw material, we already have an insight into the total toxin content of the finished feed, based on which the program suggests you a suitable toxin-binding type with a mixing dose. Mycowatch is a new generation of mobile apps with appropriate formulation software that fits in your pocket. The app is free and can be easily downloaded to your smartphone from the App Store or the Google Play Store.
Steps to install the app:
STEP 1
Download the application from the App Store or the Google Play Store
After this step, you can sign in for free.
STEP 2
Select which species you want to generate a recipe for, and for which age group.
STEP 3
Label the raw materials with the known toxin test results and the mixing percentage.
STEP 4
After recording all known ingredients, you get the risk factor and you can read the symptom or set of symptoms associated with it, and the program also suggests a product for us together with the dose. You can send the result by email to yourself or to our colleagues.
The application requires internet access.
The program calculates with 88% dry matter content for raw materials.
